An accountability court in Karachi on Saturday ordered to declare former Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon an absconder in a five billion rupees corruption case.
National Accountability Bureau (NAB) lawyer informed the court during hearing that Sharjeel Memon had fled the country to avoid arrest.
It may be recalled that a reference of corruption worth over five billion rupees in the provincial Information Department had been lodged with NAB court against fifteen accused, including Memon and Zulfiqar Shalwani.
The court has already declared Amita Baloch as absconder in the case.
