Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has launched a pilot project of motorbikes ambulance service.
Addressing a ceremony on Saturday, he said initially this project would consist of 1000 motorbikes to start this service at the divisional headquarters. "Staff recruitment is underway and this service would ensure speedy access to the accident site," he said and added that it would prove a big relief to the public.
Former member Scottish Parliament Hanzla Malik handed over keys of 10 motorbikes to the Chief Minister on the occasion. Also, the rescue 1122 staff displayed the act of providing first aid to the injured one through motorbike.
