As many as 1.3 million children under five years of age would be administered polio vaccine drops in the district during the next anti-polio campaign which would be continued from 16 to 18 January and additional two days would be observed as sweeping for achieving the 100 percent results of the campaign.
This was stated by Deputy Commissioner Salman Ghani, while inaugurating anti-polio campaign at Government General Hospital Samanabad. Chief Executive Officer District Health Authority Dr. Nawazish Goraya, DHO Dr. Asif Shahzad, MS Dr. Khalid Fakhar, officers of DHA, Chairman Union Council Arshid Siddiqui, Vice Chairman, Councilors and other members of civil society were also present on the occasion.
