The Senior Vice President Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry Turab Ali Khoja has welcomed Rs 180 billion export incentive package announced by Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif adding that this package would help in increasing the exports which had been on decline for last many years.
He said that with announcement of this package, the exports would get a boost with reactivation of industries particularly the textile industry which was badly affected as a result of increase in the cost of production. He said that withdrawal of sales tax and import duty on textile machinery, cotton, men-made fiber and fixing of new duty drawback rate would bring significant improvement in the industrial sector and the exporters would be able to meet the challenges with the incentives package announced by the Prime Minister.
