ISLAMABAD: Chairman National Assembly Standing Committee on Finance, Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh on Monday said that the present government would announce the investor friendly budget this year.

All the stakeholders and leaders of political parties have been invited to participate in the upcoming meeting of the Committee for debate on the budget, he said while talking to news channel.

The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), government had presented five budgets, he said.

The government was trying to reduce inflation and increase exports for betterment of the common man, he added.

Commenting on new amnesty scheme, he said that investors would achieve the benefits through this scheme as announced by Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.

This scheme would also expand tax network in the country, he added.

The target has been set to collect 4000 billion rupees through tax, he said.

To a question, he said the business community had welcomed the economic reforms package as announced by the government.

Due to the steps of the PML-N government, 10,000 mega watt electricity was added to the national grid to run the industry in a befitting manner, he said.
