Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar visited Justice Ijaz's residence and called in the Inspector General Police Punjab to investigate the matter.
The Chief Justice said he is monitoring the situation. Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has strongly condemned the firing on the house of Justice Ijaz-ul-Ahsan.
In a statement, the Prime Minister directed to bring the perpetrators to justice as soon as possible.
