Inam Butt finally grabs gold for Pakistan at Commonwealth Games
Pakistani wrestler Muhammad Inam bagged the first gold medal this year for the country at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in the Men's Freestyle 86 kg wrestling competition on Saturday. Pakistan has so far picked up five medals in the Games being held at Australia’s Gold Coast. Earlier in the day, the Lahore born Tayab Raza picked bronze in Men's Freestyle 125 kg wrestling. The 29 years old Butt, hailing from from Gujranwala beat Nigeria’s Melvin Bibo for the gold medal through Victory by Points - without any points scored by the opponent, as Bibo was unable to score a point, while Inam scored three classification points.
