CM Shehbaz meets Sindh Governor Zubair in Karachi

Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif met Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair during his one day visit to Karachi on Saturday.

According to local media reports, during their meeting at Governor House, Shehbaz and the Sindh governor discussed the current political situation of the country.

During his visit to Karachi, Shehbaz will meet lawyers, media, youth minorities and businessmen. The chief minister will also address a Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz (PML-N)  Worker's Convention in the evening.

This is the first time Shehbaz has visited Karachi after being elected as the president of PML-N last month. His brother, former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, has been disqualified from holding any public office.

This means that Nawaz has been barred by the Supreme Court to run for elections for lifetime. The judgement was passed on Friday by the top court, which is a historic verdicts that might affect the political scenario of the country in the long term.
