The FBR officials said that the Board had repeatedly issued warnings and recovery notices to these tax evaders, but they failed to comply with the directives.
The official added that the FBR had started compiling fresh lists of people who own costly properties and vehicles but were not paying taxes. He said the tax recovery campaign would continue till June 30, 2018.
The FBR would soon get banks accounts of these influential business people. He warned that the properties of tax defaulters might be auctioned after adopting all legal procedures.
