Born in Gujjar Khan, Amir has represented Pakistan in 107 matches and has been a member of Pakistan's World T20 winning squad in 2009 and the Champions Trophy winning squad last year.

The pace spearhead has picked 95, 57 and 46 wickets in Tests, One Day Internationals and T20I, respectively.

Arguably Amir’s greatest bowling performance to date was when he dismantled the powerful Indian batting line, picking up Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan and skipper Virat Kohli, in the finals of the ICC Champions Trophy, allowing the Green Shirts to win their first CT title to date.
