"Hajj balloting has been postponed on court's orders," he said talking to a private news channel.
The government had completed its work regarding formulation of Hajj policy, he said, adding the cabinet had given approval for Hajj balloting which was due today (Friday).
On the orders of court, we had to postpone the Hajj balloting. Some tour operators had filed application regarding increase in quota for Hajj, he said.
"We hope that the court will give decision as early as possible, " he said.
This year, the government had arranged best facilities including food, transport, and residence for the intending pilgrims, Sardar Muhammad Yousuf said.
