Shoaib Akhtar in pain for dropping Hafeez
Former Pakistan fast bowler, Shoaib Akhtar has questioned why Muhammad Hafeez was drop from the Pakistan squad for T20I series. "It wasn’t right to drop Mohammad Hafeez," stated Akhtar, quoted PakPassion. "Hafeez should have been asked to play and we should have got benefit out of him but to suddenly drop him and the shuffle the batting order, send Nawaz up the order, was unfair," added Akhtar. The legendary fast bowler, was of the view that all rounder Aamer Yamin should have been selected , and praised Ahmed Shehzad for his performance in the second T20I. "I am happy that Ahmed Shehzad performed today but I am pained about Hafeez being dropped and also Shehzad being dropped in the first game," he added. Pakistan tasted their first success of the tour after demolishing New Zealand by 48 runs in their chase of 201 runs, in the second T20I played at Auckland on Thursday. with the series 1-1, the decider third T20I would be played on Sunday at Bay Oval.
