UAE ambassador visits SZH
LAHORE: Ambassador of United Arab Emirates Obaid Ibrahim Salim Al Zaabi visited Shaikh Zayed Hospital (SZH) Lahore on Wednesday. Prof Dr Farid Ahmad Khan Chairman and Dean SZMC warmly welcomed the ambassador and presented bouquet on his arrival.
The UAE ambassador along with the Chairman and Faculty Members of SZMC visited Plastic Surgery and Burn Unit, Liver Transplant Unit and other wards of the hospital. Prof Dr Farid Ahmad Khan briefed the ambassador about history, all components of Shaikh Zayed Medical Complex and extension projects.
He said," We are proud of our long-term relationships with the United Arab Emirates, the UAE always facilitated us in different fields especially in the establishment of Shaikh Zayed Medical Complex Lahore".
On the occasion, UAE Ambassador praised the efforts of Chairman and his team regarding their endless efforts in providing state-of-the-art treatment facilities to patients admitted in Shaikh Zayed Hospital Lahore.
He said," The UAE is always committed to provide its full support to the Pakistan especially in education and healthcare sectors because we believe these are most important for the generation of Pakistan, we will enhance mutual co-ordination." He assured his full support in upcoming projects which will play a vital role in the betterment of the institute and the healthcare sector. "I am very happy to be here and proud all of you", he said.
