U19 World Cup quarterfinal hero terms today's victory a ‘morale booster’
Sharing his feelings following a memorable victory against South Africa on Wednesday, U19 World Cup quarterfinal hero Ali Zaryab said the victory is a morale booster for the team.
Talking to the media after three-wicket victory in the quarter final of the tournament, the 19-year-old said, “Today was a tough match. It was a knockout game and victory is a morale booster for us.”
“It was a memorable victory for us. Whole world was watching it live. It increases confidence in the team for the upcoming semifinals and final,” said the Man of the Match, Zaryab. “The team is also feeling great and enjoying today’s win over South Africa,” he further said.
Ali Zaryab played a key role in Pakistan’s quarterfinal victory today. He made unbeaten 74 to guide the team to a great victory against South Africa.
Pakistan will now either face India or Bangladesh in the semifinal on January 30 at Christchurch.
