ISLAMABAD: Senate Chairman Mian Raza Rabbani Tuesday informed the Senate that he had written a letter to the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) regarding efforts of the parliament for judicial reforms and speedy justice.

“I have written a letter to Chief Justice of Pakistan on January 13, 2018 after his statement about parliament and informed him about efforts of National Assembly and Senate about legislation and steps for speedy justice,” he added.

Raza Rabbani said the CJP had invited him for a meeting to discuss about the judicial reforms and Leader of the House and the Leader of the Opposition had been taken into confidence in that regard.
