Khurram Dastgir off to Brussels on four-day visit

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Defence and Convener of EU Parliament Friendship Group, Engineer Khurram Dastgir Khan along with a group of Parliamentarians left for Brussels on late Tuesday on a four-day visit.

The delegation of Parliamentarians includes former Speaker National Assembly Dr. Fehmida Mirza, Chairman National Assembly Commerce Committee Siraj Khan and Chairman Senate Commerce Committee, Shibli Faraz, said a statement issued here.

The members of the parliamentary delegation will meet their European Union counterparts and hold a dialogue on GSP+ and longer-term strategic Pakistan-EU partnership.

Meanwhile, according to a message received here on Tuesday Khurram Dastgir met Chairman of EU Parliament Human Rights Committee, Pier Antonio Panzeri.
