PESHAWAR: Advisor to the Prime Minister and President Pakistan Muslim League (PMLN) KP, Engr Amir Muqam Monday said that Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) chief, Imran Khan has never sent curse on salary cheques he received for being a member of national assembly.

“How Imran is sending curse on national assembly despite of the fact that he kept on receiving salary cheques in his capacity as member of the sacred institution,” Muqam questioned.

These views were expressed by him while talking with media persons during a day long visit to Swabi district and after offering fateha for the departed soul of sister of Dildar Khan, General Secretary PML(N) Swabi district.

Amir Muqam said people should realize the double standard of PTI leadership who on one side uttering abusive language for august national assembly and on the other side is struggling for his re-election as member of the same assembly in the upcoming elections.

He said people should reject people of double standards by rejecting them at time of elections to be held in the mid of current year.

Engr Amir Muqam said those who claim to have obtained heavy mandate during general elections in KP have failed to make any significant work for development of Swabi district.

He said the long lasting demand regarding setting up of passport office in Swabi is because of the efforts of leadership of PML(N). Similarly, he continued, soon the NADRA offices will be set up in Topi and Rajar areas.

In response to a question, Engr Amir Muqam said the launching of sui gas supply scheme in NA: 12 is because of the cooperation of federal government.

While in NA: 13, he continued, the gas supply scheme is being funded 80 percent by federal government and 20 percent by KP government.

He said by paying 20 percent of expenditure, the KP government should not take whole credit of the project which is mostly being funded by federal government.

He also announced that work over construction of electricity grid station in Chota Lahore at Swabi district is in full swing.

He also held out assurance of continuing his efforts for the service of masses and in this regard will not leave any stone unturned for providing facilities to people and for upgrading their living standards.
