National Accountability Bureau (NAB) filed on Monday a supplementary reference that also contains new evidence against the Sharif family in the pending Avenfield flat case.

The reference has seven new witnesses, including two from United Kingdom, and includes new evidence, local media reported.

In December, a two-member team of NAB had visited the United Kingdom to collect more evidence pertaining to the Avenfield apartments. Sharif's daughter Maryam Nawaz, son-in-law Captain (retd) Safdar have been named in the Avenfield properties, whereas the deposed prime minister along with his sons Hussain and Hassan Nawaz have been named in Avenfield properties, Azizia Steel Mills and Flagship Investment.

In the Joint Investigation Team's report, Maryam was revealed as the owner of Avenfield properties. Maryam did not declare the ownership of the properties and submitted documents, which were manipulated and fake.
