Politics of protests poisonous for country's development: CM
LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif Saturday said the politics of protests and chaos was a poison for the development of the country.
The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) believed in doing politics of democratic traditions and public service and those staging sit-ins would again face defeat in the 2018 general election.
He said this while talking to a delegation of the PML-N here on Saturday.
The chief minister said the PML-N was doing the politics of economic uplift and public prosperity. The people would reject the dramas of those doing politics of sit-ins as they were multiplying their sufferings because they were enemies of progress. Such elements had people did nothing in their provinces for the last four and a half years and now they were extremely upset.
He said those who went to hills for outing during the outbreak of dengue in the KPK, how could they face the people.
