Capability of law enforcing agencies improved
FAISALABAD: State Minister for Power Chaudhary Abid Sher Ali on Saturday said the government had improved the capability of law enforcing agencies to ensure full safety and security to lives and properties of the masses on modern lines.
This was said by him while visiting the residence of recovered abductee boy Hamza Javaid at Nazimabad here.
He said the latest technology and gadgets had been provided to the police besides recruiting Dolphin Force to take prompt action against criminals.
He appreciated the performance of Faisalabad police in recovering abductees and said that culprits involved in this heinous crime would not be tolerated at any cost.
He also awarded cash prize to SHO Factory Area Aftab Waseem and said that excellent performance of police officials would be regarded at all levels.
Responding to a question, the state minister said that 90 per cent loadshedding had been eliminated in the country and Pakistan will be self-sufficient in energy very soon after completion of ongoing energy projects.
To another query, he said the PML-N government would complete its constitutional tenure and general elections would be held in time despite sit-ins and protests.
