A Spokesman of Metrological Station, Peshawar informed that thundershower rain was also expected in Upper/Eastern Punjab, Islamabad and Kashmir, while at isolated places of South eastern Sindh, Gilgit-Baltistan.
The weather of Peshawar, Abbottabad and Parachianar Kurram Agency will remain party cloudy with chances of rain during the said period.
He said the westerly wave was affecting upper parts of the country and the Seasonal low lies over northeast Balochistan and adjoining areas.
In next 48 hours, mainly hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country, however, rain thunderstorm is expected at isolated places of Kashmir and adjoining hilly areas. In last 24 hours, isolated rain-thundershower occurred in KP, upper/eastern Punjab, Southeastern Sindh and Gilgit-Baltistan.
The maximum rain has been received by Bahawalpur (A/P) 12mm followed by Bahawalpur (City) 8mm, Parachinar 5mm, Bannu, Gilgit 3mm, Astore, Barkhan, Bhakkar, Mithi, Okara, Malamjabba, D.I Khan 1 mm respectively.
Turbat 46 C remained the hottest place followed by Dalbandin and Chorr 41 C while pollen count today was recorded 24/m3.
