KARACHI: Chief Justice of Sindh High Court (SHC) Justice Mushir Alam has said that the online verification system of sureties and securities is being evolved with the assistance of the Excise and Taxation Department for the convenience of the people.

Speaking at a certificates distribution ceremony here on Thursday, the Chief Justice said that this system will help people who want to submit sureties in the shape of vehicles or property documents in connection with bails and other cases.

Presently it is being done through courier service, which takes time and people face hardship, he added.

He asked lawyers to submit workable proposals through development committee of SHC for introducing online verification system at SHC and District Courts.

Later, the Chief Justice distributed appreciation certificates to the participants of a three-day medical camp which was organised by a lawyers body from May 16 to 18.
