Former KP minister arrested from courtroom

CHARSADDA: The court of Additional Sessions Judge, Charsadda, Jehanzeb Shinwari Wednesday rejected an interim bail extension plea of former provincial minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, leader of Awami National Party, Arshad Abdullah and ordered his arrest along with 18 aides.

The former KP law minister had been charged in five different cases including attack on City police station Charsadda and intervention in official work, in which he had been granted bail.

Wednesday, he appeared before the court to get extension in his interim bail however, the court dismissed his plea and ordered the arrest.

Complying with the court orders, police arrested Arshad Abdullal along with his 18 companions from the courtroom.
