LSE-25 Index up by 38.44 points

LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange on Monday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 38.44 points as the LSE-25 Index opened with 4156.60 and closed at 4195.04 points.

The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 5.762 million shares to close against previous turnover of 2.380 million shares, showing an upward move of 3.381 million shares. While, out of the total 111 active scrips, 48 moved up, 53 remained equal with 10 shed values.

Muslim Commercial Bank Limited, Pakistan State Oil Company Limited and Habib Bank Limited were major gainers of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 11.82, Rs 10.57 and Rs 3.69, respectively.

Netsol Technologies Limited, Tariq Glass Industries Limited and Engro Corporation Limited lost their per share value by Re 0.84, Re 0.30 and Re 0.23 respectively.

The Volume Leader of the day included The Bank of Punjab Limited with 1.386 million shares, Fauji Cement Company Limited with 1.024 million shares and NIB Bank Limited with 626,000 shares.
