Iraq car bombs kill nine: police

BAGHDAD: Three car bombs exploded south of Baghad on Monday, killing nine people and wounding more than 50, police and a medical official said.

The attacks are the latest in a wave of violence that has killed nearly 230 people across Iraq over the past week .
