Prime Minister arrives on 2-day visit

KARACHI: Caretaker Prime Minister, Justice (Retd) Mir Hazar Khan Khoso, arrived here on Thursday on a two-day visit to the metropolis.

On arrival at Karachi Airport, he was received by the Sindh Governor, Dr. Ishrat- ul- Ebad Khan, and Caretaker Sindh Chief Minister, Justice (Retd) Zahir Kurban Alavi.

From the Airport the Prime Minister went straight to the mausoleum of the Father of the Nation, Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah.

He laid a floral wreath, offered Fateha and recorded his impressions in the Visitors' Book.

On Friday the Prime Minister will chair a law and order meeting at the Governor House here.

The security arrangements in Sindh and contingency plan for the forthcoming general elections would also come up for discussion in the meeting.

There will also be a briefing on the health-related matters especially on police and measles disease by Federal Minister Dr. Sania Nishter.
