This he said while addressing a meeting with the leaders of various political parties and members of Chamber of Commerce and Industries Larkana Division, Chamber of Agriculture Larkana Division, notables and growers here at the Circuit House, on Tuesday.
He said that he felt proud that the law and order situation in interior Sindh is satisfactory; however all-out efforts will be ensured for its further improvement.
He said that the impartiality of this caretaker government can be gauged from its steps to ensure free, fair elections and assured that the polling booths would be fully secured in addition to maintaining law and order prior to and after the elections.
Caretaker Sindh Chief Minister said that the efforts is being made to create a peaceful atmosphere in which each voter can cast his/ her vote without any fear.
He said that the replacement of democratic government after every five year would further make the things easier and clearer to everyone and the confusion which we are experiencing today would not be seen in future.
The Caretaker Sindh Chief Minister impressed upon the members of delegations meeting him that being opinion leaders of the society, they should play their key role in maintaining peace and tranquility in the society.
He said that the responsibility entrusted to him for holding transparent elections would be fulfilled with honesty and with dedication.
He said that all efforts would be made and resources would be utilised to achieve the objectives. He said that security measures adopted in Karachi would also be adopted in all other parts of the province.
While responding to complaints about delay in distribution of gunny bags (Bardana) among the growers, the Caretaker Sindh Chief Minister said that the Food department has started distribution of gunny bags to the Abadgars.
To another query, he said that we are not fond of replacing the officers but in order to remove the apprehensions of contesting candidates, we made the decision across the board.
While responding to the complaint about shortage of irrigation water, the Caretaker Sindh Chief Minister directed the Commissioner Larkana Division to take strict action in the matter.
Agriculturist Gada Hussain Mahessar, Syed Siraj Ahmed Rashdi and other growers, besides leaders of PPP, PML-F, PML-N, JUI-F and other parties attended the meeting and briefed about their problems to the Caretaker Chief Minister.
He assured them that the problems faced by the growers, businessmen would be solved very soon.
