WCCI delegation meets Sethi

LAHORE: Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Najam Sethi discussed the problems being faced by Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WCCI) with its office-bearers led by its Founder President Dr Shehla Javed Ikram at CM Secretariat on Monday.

On this occasion, Najam Sethi said women were playing an important role in all walks of life, and no country could achieve developmental goals and prosperity without active participation of women in practical field.

Sethi said Pakistani women were capable and their services in education, trade, medical, industry and other sectors were commendable. The chief minister assured the WCCI delegation of resolution of their problems and said that caretaker government would do whatever possible in this regard.

The delegation comprising WCCI President, Qaisara Sheikh, Executive Members Shazia Iqtidar, Mrs. Rukhasan Khan, Rukhasan Zafar, Members Ayesha Khurram, Ishrat Tariq and Ayesha Shaheen, thanked the chief minister for assuring resolution of their problems.

The CM's Principal Secretary and Secretary Industries were also present.
