The president of the Bank, Mrs Shafqat Sultana, performed the inauguration here on Tuesday.
Addressing the executives and employees of the FWBL she said that focusing on human resource development is the first priority of the Bank so that its professional base is expanded and strengthened.
She was of the view that in these days the training is just like marketing and that it also helps tackle the staff's presentday challenges in the banking sector.
The president of the FWBL also described the training as a sort of investment. She was of the view that imparting training involves cost as well as time.
However, having a well trained staff helps them to be more efficient, make fewer mistakes and create better results.
Shafqat Sultana emphasised that training should never be considered a luxury as the training is the most powerful tonic ever created as it can change a single life and in turn move our entire world in new ways, she said.
