According to Met Office here, continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country and that a shallow westerly wave is also persisting over northern areas.
In next 24 hours, mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, however rain-thunderstorm is expected at isolated places of Malakand, Hazara divisions, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan whereas day temperatures are likely to rise in plain areas of the country.
The weather of Abbottabad and Malakand districts will remain partly cloudy with chances of rain with thunderstorms at isolated places during the said period.
In next 48 hours, mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, however rain-thunderstorm is predicted at isolated places of Malakand, Hazara divisions, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. Dry weather remained in most parts and isolated rain-thunderstorm occurred in Malakand, Hazara divisions and Kashmir.
The maximum rain was received by Dir and Parachinar 5 millimeter followed by Chitral 3mm, Saidu Sharif & Malamjabba 2mm, Kohat, Kotli & lower Dir 1 mm each respectively.
Turbat with 38 C and Chhor 37 C remained the hottest places in last 24 hours while pollen count today is 1,192 per cubic meter.
