LHC disposes of plea against advisors to CM Punjab

LAHORE: Lahore High Court Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial on Thursday disposed of a petition against appointments of Advisors and Special Assistants to the Punjab CM.

The petition was filed by the petitioner-counsel Rana Mehtab Ahmad submitting that an army of Advisors and Special Assistants was appointed by the CM Shahbaz Sharif, which were burden on national exchequer.

He prayed to declare appointment of all the Advisors and Special Assistants to CM Punjab as illegal and restrain them from working till final disposal of the petition.
