LAHORE: The Lahore High Court Wednesday adjourned hearing of a petition seeking directions to ban All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) and disqualify former president Pervez Musharraf.

The court directed petitioner to provide address of Pervez Musharraf for purpose of issuing notices.

The single bench comprising Justice Nasir Saeed Sheikh was hearing the petition filed by Muhammad Hayat.

Earlier, the petitioner submitted before the court that former president and president APML Pervez Musharraf twice subverted the Constitution besides removing judges.

He alleged that the country faced loss due to unconstitutional steps of the Pervez Musharraf.

He pleaded the court to disqualify Pervez Musharraf and ban his party.

However, the court after hearing the arguments adjourned further hearing and directed petitioner to provide address of the respondent.
