Female doctor dies of coronavirus in Lahore

(Karachi) A female doctor died of coronavirus at a private hospital in Lahore, the Punjab health department has confirmed.

As per details, Dr Sana Fatima was admitted to a private hospital on May 20 after contracting the disease and was suffering from respiratory illness.

On Friday, Punjab reported 29 deaths, the highest death toll so far.

Pakistan's death toll has risen to 1,346 after 63 fatalities were confirmed in the last 24 hours in Punjab, Sindh and Islamabad collectively — the highest single-day death toll so far. Both Punjab and Sindh reported their highest single-day death tolls at 29 and 31, respectively.

On May 21, most deaths were reported in a day when 57 people died of the deadly virus.
