  • The minister further said people can book their tickets from tomorrow.
  •  A counter of each registration office in Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi, Multan, Sukkur, Quetta and Peshawar will be opened outside the stations.

Following resumption of train services, the Railways Ministry has decided to open reservation offices of each station after online ticket registration faced a technical glitch.

In a video posted on his official Twitter handle, Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid said their online ticket registration system was facing a technical glitch due to the load of excessive booking. A counter of each registration office in Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi, Multan, Sukkur, Quetta and Peshawar will be opened outside the stations.

The minister further said people can book their tickets from tomorrow both from the office and online. He urged people to follow SOPs issued by the ministry.

On Wednesday train operations were resumed after the approval of Prime Minister Imran Khan.  30 passenger trains (15-Up and 15-Down) have been allowed to resume operations.
