Sindh to be under complete lockdown till 3pm today

Sindh will be under a strict lockdown from morning till 3pm on Friday as total number of coronavirus cases in the province jumped to 14099.

Sindh Information Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah has announced that all shops, including fruit and vegetable shops and pharmacies will remain shut till late afternoon. He further said no businesses will be allowed to operate as well.

Earlier, a number of major markets and shopping centres in Karachi were sealed for violating the standard operating procedures issued by the government before easing the coronavirus lockdown.

Some of the markets and shopping centres were sealed in Saddar and included Zainab Market, International Centre, Madina City Mall, Victoria Centre, Al Haram Centre, Jillani Centre, and Gul Plaza.
