Balochistan extends lockdown till May 19

  • Balochistan has recorded 1321 confirmed cases.

Following the increase in coronavirus cases, Balochistan has extended its lockdown until May 19.

In a tweet, provincial government spokesperson Liaquat Shahwani announced the extension. He said due to the rapid increase of cases, the provincial government has decided to extend the lockdown for another 15 days.

"The only medicine and  solution so far has proven to be isolation, social distancing

and lockdown. Hence Balochistan government has decided to extend lockdown for further 15 days till 19th May," he tweeted.

On Monday, Balochistan confirmed 103 new coronavirus cases. The total number of coronavirus cases in the province are 1321.
