  • PM says so far, more than 0.8 million people have registered in the force.
  • Decision has been taken so more and more people could volunteer for registration.

(Karachi) Prime Minister Imran Khan has extended the registration of "Corona Relief Tigers' Force" till April 15, media reported on Friday.

In a message for youth, the PM said that so far, 0.8 million people have registered in the force. The prime minister thanked the youth for joining the force in large numbers.

He urged youth, especially the paramedics and doctors, to register in the force.

The decision to extend the registration of the force was made so that more and more people could volunteer for registration.

Earlier, the government had established Corona Relief Tigers' Force which will work in coordination with the Pakistan Army and other authorities in wake of the coronavirus outbreak.

The force would work in collaboration with district administrations to look after the affairs of quarantine centers. In emergency situation, it would also ensure uninterrupted food supply to the less-privileged people at their doorsteps.
