The opposition members on Tuesday staged an anti-government protest outside the Parliament House against inflation.
The opposition members were carrying placards and banners bearing anti-government slogans.
The members also raised slogans against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government on increasing inflation in the country.
Addressing the participants, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Rana Tanveer said that a debate should be held in the Parliament after making the investigation reports of Prime Minister Imran Khan into the reasons for inflation public. He also accused that the prime minister was protecting his close companions and demanded of the prime minister to immediately resign over inflation and hold fresh elections.
Malik Pervaiz, Shaishta Pervaiz, Asif Kirmani, Shiza Fatima, Mushahid Hussain Syed, Maiza Hameed, Kulsoom Perveen, Khel Das and others participated in the protest.
