Prime Minister Imran Khan met on Tuesday Malaysian PM Mahathir Mohamad in Putrajaya.

Upon his arrival, PM Khan was received by his Malaysian counterpart. Addressing a press conference following talks with the Malaysian PM, the premier regreted that he could not attend the conference in Kuala Lumpur in December.

He said there was a fear that the conference would divide the ummah. However, he added that it was evident from after when the conference took place that was not the purpose to divide the ummah. On speaking on India's sanctions on trade with Kaula Lampur, PM Khan said Pakistan will try its best to compensate for the palm oil loss suffered by Malaysia.

Before the joint presser, delegation level talks between Pakistan and Malaysia at Putrajaya. The two sides discussed the entire spectrum of bilateral relations and ways and means to further expand their relations in different fields including trade, economy and tourism.
