'Dead' woman who returned to life during funeral bath dies again

• 50-year-old Rasheeda Bibi was earlier declared dead by the doctors but she came to live during her funeral bath.

A woman, who was wrongly pronounced dead at a hospital in Karachi and came back to life while being given her funeral bath, died on Thursday morning.

A case surfaced on Wednesday at Abbasi Shaheed Hospital when 50-year-old Rasheeda Bibi, who was declared dead by the doctors, came to live during her funeral bath. According to the family, the doctors had also issued her death certificate after which her body was shifted to the cold storage for remaining rituals before her burial.

She was shifted to the hospital again and on Thursday her health deteriorated and she died in the morning at 5.
