Under Modi, India is moving systematically with a Hindu supremacist agenda: PM warns world

• The PM said Modi's Hindu supremacist agenda will lead to massive bloodshed and consequences for the world.
• He urged the world to realise that Modi's Hindu supremacist agenda and threats to Pakistan under a nuclear overhang will lead to massive bloodshed.

Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has once again urged the international community to step in and counter the 'Hindu supremacist agenda' of PM Narendra Modi's India threatening bloodshed and war.

In a tweet on Thursday, the PM said that India, under Modi, has been moving systematically with its Hindu supremacist agenda. He further said that first the Indian government illegally annexed Indian occupied Kashmir and put it under siege, then it stripped two million Indian Muslim in Assam of citizenship, adding that 'now the passage of Citizenship Amendment Law.'

In another tweet, the premier continued that the world must realise that Modi's Hindu supremacist agenda, accompanied by threats to Pakistan under a nuclear overhang, will lead to massive bloodshed and 'far-reaching consequences for the world'.

"As in Nazi Germany, in Modi's India dissent has been marginalised and the world must step in before it is too late, to counter this Hindu Supremacist agenda of Modi's India threatening bloodshed and war," the PM added.

Indian government introduced on Monday a controversial bill in parliament that would give citizenship to non-Muslim minorities from three neighbouring countries Bangladesh, Pakistan and Afghanistan.  This mean the law will create a legal pathway to grant Indian nationality on the basis of religion.

Following the bill, Oppositions politicians inside parliament and protesters in several Indian cities, said the bill discriminated against Muslims and violated India’s secular constitution.
