Mirza tendered his resignation due to personal reasons.
He was appointed to the post of special assistant in April, 2019.

Special Assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan on Media Affairs Yousaf Baig Mirza resigned from his post on Wednesday.

According to local media reports, Mirza has resigned due to personal reasons. Mirza had previously served as the managing director of Pakistan Television. He was appointed to the post of special assistant in April this year.
