Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has warned the opposition not to underestimate the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government and the self restraint they are exercising on their Azadi March.

Following Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman's two-day deadline for Prime Minister Imran Khan to resign, the minister took to his Twitter handle and warned the protesters that if the premier gives the call, the 'bunch of opportunists will not find a place to hide in Pakistan.

On Friday, the JUI-F chief had demanded that the prime minister to resign within two days. “I give this government two days to resign… we want state institutions to be impartial and withdraw their support to this illegitimate government," said the JUI-F chief while addressing the rally.

The major opposition parties including Pakistan Peoples Party and Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz also attended the rally and addressed the protesters. However, the PML-N have refused to take part in the sit-in announced by the JUI-F.
