Internet services in Pakistan have been restored after a fault was reported in an international submarine cable, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority said on Wednesday.
In a statement, the authority said that internet services have been completely restored in the country. Due to international submarine cable fault, internet services were impacted in Pakistan.
PTCL Spokesperson Fariha Tahir Shah said that internet services have been fully restored throughout Pakistan. Earlier on Tuesday last, internet users in Pakistan faced severe internet disruption, following outage in international submarine cable systems IMEWE, providing internet bandwidth to Pakistan.
