Local election ploy in IOK

Three major parties - Congress, Muslim Conference and People's Democratic Party - have caused a major setback to New Delhi's game plan after announcing that they would boycott local government elections in occupied Kashmir. Piqued by growing international criticism for turning the occupied valley into world's largest prison, New Delhi seeks to gain legitimacy for its claim that normalcy returning, albeit slowly, to the occupied Kashmir. These tactics or ploys are not going to work because almost the entire anti-New Delhi and pro-New Delhi Kashmiri leadership is in detention. That India has stabbed the pro-New Delhi Kashmiris such as the Abdullahs in the back through removal of Article 370 from its constitution is a fact.
