HONG KONG: Hong Kong stocks headed into the break with a small rise on Tuesday following the previous day's hammering but the gains were limited by growing concerns about violent protests that have rocked the city.
The Hang Seng Index edged up 0.10 percent, or 26.81 points, to 25,707.14 by lunch.
