HONG KONG: Hong Kong shares ended the morning sharply lower on Monday as investors wind down their expectations for a big Federal Reserve interest rate cut at the end of the month.
The Hang Seng Index slipped 0.77 percent, or 222.81 points, to 28,542.59 by the break.
