ISLAMABAD: President Dr. Arif Alvi on Tuesday expressed his heartfelt condolences to the families of the martyrs of Kharkamar terrorist incident.
The President talked on telephone to the wife and brother of Lt. Col Rashid Karim Baig who embraced martyrdom in the bomb blast on June 7. He is survived by a daughter.
The President also offered his condolences to the wife of Major Moeez Maqsood who was martyred in the same incident. He is survived by two sons, aging 3 and 8 years.
The President talked to Shah Daraz, father of Captain Arif Ullah Khan, another martyr of the same ghastly incident and offered his heartfelt condolences.
The martyr is survived by three brothers and three sisters. Shah Daraz told the President that all his children were ready to lay their lives for the nation.
President Alvi also offered his heartfelt condolences with the father of Lance Havaldar Zaheer Abbas, who is survived by a daughter.
