Job opportunities for the unemployed educated youth proposed in forthcoming fiscal year (2019-20): AJK budget

MIRPUR (AJK): Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister (PM) Raja Farooq Haider Khan Monday said that various mass public welfare schemes would be launched with prime focus to create employment opportunities for the jobless educated youth in AJK in the forthcoming new fiscal year (2019-20) AJK budget.

He was talking to his cabinet colleagues including Ch. Muhammad Saeed, Raja Muhammad Naseer Khan, Col. Retd. Waqar Noor and Raja Muhammad Siddique Khan who called on him at the PM Secretariat in the State’s metropolis to present to him the budgetary proposals.

“The interest free of  loans would be provided to the youth under a proposed integrated self-employment program besides special attention for the speedy uplift of  tourism and agriculture sectors in the state during the new financial year”, he maintained.

The PM AJK assured that the upcoming fiscal year budget would reflect the true  aspirations of the people of AJK.

AJK government had chalked a out solid strategy for ever-lasting development in the region under  5-year development plan, to be launched to ensure appropriate use of the development budget, he added.

Haider said in the first three years of his government most of the budget was spent on up gradation of communication infrastructure, especially construction, widening and reconditioning of the highways network in the State.

He said in the coming AJK budget people would be provided with latest basic infrastructural facilities where they are non-existent.

He said tht people of all walks of life were being taken into confidence during the ongoing course of preparations of the budget.

“Their healthy suggestions are being made part of the budget”, he remarked. The AJK government has, meanwhile, intensified the process of consultation for preparation of the people-friendly new fiscal years’ budget of the state.
