Karachiites braved hot, humid weather with surging humidity

KARACHI: Weather remained hot and humid in Karachi Sunday with day time temperature ranging between 36 degree centigrade to 38 degree centigrade and humidity between 78pc to 80pc.

According to Pakistan Meteorological Department's spokesman for Karachi the minimum temperature registered during early hours of the day was 26 degrees centigrade while humidity at one point time dipped to 60pc.

Wind direction remained westerly and south westerly and would continue to be so during the next two days.

There was said to be no need for any heat wave alert as maximum temperature on Monday and Tuesday is expected between 35 degrees centigrade to 37 degrees centigrade with 50% to 60% humidity.
